Is it possible to add videos without the <embed> tag?. Yeah, it’s possible. How?.
How To Add videos in WordPress without the <embed> tag.
From WordPress 2.9 there is no need to insert videos with the <embed> tag. You just simply need to drop the video URL in your WordPress blog post. It's so simple. isn’t it?. Yeah, it is. Thanks to the support of oEmbed

Go to your Media Settings page on the WordPress admin setting section. Make sure, the Auto-embeds feature is enabled. If it is not enabled, please enable it.
Step 2: Copy video URL
now go to YouTube.com and copy the URL of the video, that you want to include in your post.
